As you are travelling to the remote and adventurous tour it is strongly recommended that you obtain travel insurance which is valid overseas. Therefore we have made it a point that we do operate in a responsible manner by supplying the necessary information to our valuable customers on how to minimize the negative effects that their presence may have on Nepal. Our guides are well acquainted with these codes and will assist you. Your cooperation in this regard will help us to make this place a paradise. Help us keep Nepali culture intact and maintain the natural beauty of Nepal.

This is ADVENTURE travel, and most of the holiday destinations in this brochure are remote areas, within under-developed countries, where events are less predictable than in the west. The unexpected is the norm in these areas, and despite painstaking planning and organization, these adventure holidays can never be taken for granted like a normal holiday. Many of the places which we visit do not have the same quality of emergency health and safety services that we are used to in the developed world. Internal flights can be cancelled, road transport is generally uncomfortable and unreliable, and hotels often do not approach the standards of the West. IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED FOR THIS, YOU SHOULD NOT TRAVEL WITH US.

This unpredictability also means that the itineraries that we put forward for each of our holidays should be seen as statements of intent, rather than as contractual obligations. A variety of factors, including weather, transport difficulties and political instability, might dictate that we change any of these itineraries. The trek leader will make any changes which are necessary, after consultation with the group. Only rarely will such changes be considerable, and we will always do everything within our powers to minimize the effects of the enforced changes. We cannot be held responsible for the results of changes or delays, irrespective of how they are caused.

TREKT runs adventures tours in Nepal throughout the year. For each area that we operate in, we naturally choose to go when the weather is at its most pleasant and settled. By timing our trips to coincide with the most favorable conditions, we give each group the best possible chance of enjoying good weather and achieving its objectives.

To be sure of a place on your chosen trip, you should make your booking as soon as possible. Early booking is helpful to us, as there are quite often special permits which have to be obtained well in advance of the group’s departure. Also, with the growing popularity of adventure travel, airline seats, especially at the busiest seasons of the year, are at a premium. For our most popular trips, you should book at least 6 months in advance.

Before signing up for a trip we suggest you to read the description of the trip and, if you still have any questions please feel free to contact our office.
